Municipal Stormwater Detention Facility Inspection Program
The Burlington County Soil Conservation District currently offers a valuable tool toward fulfilling the USEPA’s Phase II requirement that Tier A municipalities develop and implement a post construction program to control post construction storm water runoff.
The BCSCD inspects, assesses, and reports the condition of above ground municipal detention basins. The final report includes GPS coordinates of each outlet structure, GIS datasets for each basin, watershed maps as well as additional findings and observations. A particular benefit of this service to municipalities is that public bid is not required since it could be performed through an inter-local agreement.
If you would like to view a sample report, or would like any additional information, please call (609) 267-7410 or email [email protected].
